*** In the opening verses of Revelation we read: “Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what it is written in it” (Rev. 1:3). This reminds us that for many people the Word of God was first heard rather than read. So for this book in particular, I urge you to listen. There are many apps that will allow you to do so (and choose your favorite translation). But you also can listen via websites like Bible Gateway.
